delivered or posted to

items sent by Petlins include tracking hence we
send anything for a lower delivery cost, so please do not ask!
6. Express Post?.
Petlins do not offer an Express Post option for delivery. We find it makes almost no difference with Australia Post!
7. Customers often ask "when will I receive my order?" A
valid question, however Petlins have no control over this... Petlins
deliver your order to a local post office, often same day, usually
within 24-48 hours of cleared payment. After this it is up to
Australia Post to get it to you. We have had parcels addressed to
Brighton le Sands go via Queensland. We have had parcels from NZ come
to Sydney, go to Tasmania and then come back to Sydney! We have had
parcels sit in a
parcel centre for 5 days.
8. The only question we
can answer in this
regard is "when will my order be posted"?
We can answer that ... so please, do not ask us when you will receive

order is late in arriving, please use the "Contact Us" button from our
homepage to view your options....

in full. Just because you have paid, does not mean we have received the

11. Petlins have NO
control over how your order is handled once we deliver it to a Post
Office. Some customers may receive their parcel at their door, some may
receive a card to collect a parcel at a Post Office near them... some
receive deliveries on Saturdays... some Post Offices are open
Saturdays....some parcels may have to be signed for and cannot
at the back door". Please enquire at your local Post Office if you have
a delivery question.
.We appreciate some customers may have special delivery instructions
and try to accomodate these, however Australia Post usually ignores
them, Requests such as 'please leave on the back verandah' will not be
followed by Aus Post. Your delivery is unique to you and your Aus Post
contractor. Please refer to point 11.
13. Delivery is made
to the address shown as the "Shipping Address" the
customer has entered during registration in Petlins Online Store
registration process. If you supplied an incorrect address, it is not
our job to chase it up with Australia Post! If the item is subsequently
returned to us as 'undeliverable' any refund paid will be reduced by
ALL delivery and postage costs we have incurred. It is not our
responsibility to query any delivery address you may have supplied.
14. Petlins DO NOT use any address which you may have entered into
Paypal during checkout as your "delivery address". Please see point 15,
15. Petlins do not see or use any instruction you may enter into Paypal
during checkout. Any instruction should be entered into the comments
section on the Petlins site during purchase
16. Parcels are NOT insured for
loss or damage in transit. Our obligation ceases upon delivery to the
counter of the post office or collection by courier. Australia Post do
not cover loss or damage to parcels UNLESS insurance has been
requested prior to their first scan at the counter. Insurance is
available at the time of placing your order by adding the item from
Miscellaneous Category at the rate of 1 unit per $100 or part thereof
of your order value. Personal choice, not compulsory ...
