These dyes are so easy to use and are suitable for wool, silk, mohair, alpaca and nylon. They will not dye cotton and linen. Come in 100gm jars and will dye 1kg of fibre to full colour strength. You may use less powder to obtain a lighter shade. Required to simmer for 30 minutes to set the dye. Other setting options are available at the user's discretion and experience level, which include steaming and microwaving. These dyes do not need any other chemical or additives - they are complete....but some dyers do add a little white vinegar with silk or to exhaust those final traces from the dyebath!
