Now you can just buy individual 50 gram tubs of the 12 Ashford dye range. Easy to use, just need to add white vinegar to the dye bath and follow the instructions. Colours may be mixed to produce additional shades - best to consult a colour wheel!!

The Ashford dyes are very easy to use and the colours are clear and bright. These acid dyes are for wool, silk and other animal (protein) fibres. IT’S SO EASY – 10gm of dye powder with 10 Tablespoons of white vinegar will dye 1kg of fibre to full shade. For smaller quantities 1 level teaspoon of dye powder with 2 Tablespoons of white vinegar will dye 200gms of fibre.
